One thing I have gotten used to is recognizing a loss as quickly as possible. I just figured there’s no need to go home and cry about

“what should have been”.

And to be frank i really like it. it has made me really understand nothing last forever. Not the money, Not the family, Not the Job, Not the friendship, Not the business. I mean i could wake up tomorrow morning and the thing i thought could last forever is gone within a blink on an eye.

So you see it only makes sense that i recognize a loss as quickly as possible. imagine if after every loss i take, i start feeling sad about it, maybe for a month or a year. what will happen to me is that it will affect every aspect of my life. i will end up maybe not having the ability to think of anything new because i am still sad about a loss i took.

But the truth is you’ll take a lot of losses in life, Only God knows how my losses you’ll take in a Year, Lol. i think you’ll take a loss almost every week or every month, so imagine if you don’t learn to move on quickly. that means you’ll most likely be living a sad life on a daily basis.

Although it has it’s own disadvantages, but to me i derive more advantages from it.

I think if you’ve known me personally for while you would have notice this trait. Some would say

“Yusuf why do you move on very quickly”

the truth is i don’t like being sad about a loss that happened in the past. because the only thing it does is deprive you of the ability to enjoy the moment and think about a better future.

And to be honest the earlier you get use to this, the most likely you’ll start having a happy life.
